Selection of F1 genotypes of pineapple and reaction to inoculation with a Fusarium guttiforme isolate

چکیده
Fusariosis (Fusarium guttiforme) is the most destructive disease of pineapple crop in Brazil. The aim this study was to evaluate reaction an isolate genotypes selected for crownless fruit weight (CFW) and total soluble solids (TSS). A 1,125 ('BRS Imperial'×'Pérola') were evaluated. Selection greatest CFW TSS performed during sexual cycle. inoculated on slip-type plantlets using immersion technique. Plantlets evaluated intensity stem, attributing scores from 0 5. Eighteen with values 1.514 3.307 g 14.6 19.4 °Brix Six reached highest level survival against IT-01 isolate. Selected have agronomic traits superior those their parents, which qualify them be cycled back into plant breeding program Instituto Agronômico de Pernambuco - IPA.
